Our neighbors have 2 girls....they are older now, so they are trying to give away a wooden kitchen. They caught my mom in the garage and offered it to her.....check it out.

So- my mom has always said that men DO parent differently! Here is another shot and proof of that. My mom walked in from work and the house was really cold. My dad put a hat on me and kept me in my PJs. I love this hat- I wear it all the time!

Buying my first X-mas tree

Mom and Dad took me to buy my first tree today. We ended up with a small 4-ft one. My mom had to put it on a table so I wouldn't pull it down. Here is a picture of me and mom buying the tree. Dad also bought us a wreath. Check mom's blog for details.

Helping grad students out at UT

My mom went to grad school in 2003 and had a hard time getting folks to help take surveys and answer questions for her thesis. So, when the University of Texas Psychology department called needing testers, mom and I volunteered. Here are the pictures. The department only needed 10 minutes of recordable data. Lily did great!!!

I was a ladybug for Halloween! We had our pictures taken at the Mall in my outfit. Problem- it was WAY to hot to wear my outfit when we gave out candy to other kids. My mom and dad hung outside on the driveway in chairs and gave out candy to big kids. My Gram-B came over and took care of me! Did I mention that I know when a camera is about to go off, I squint my eyes like my dad! Did I mention I like to stay connected to my friends with mom's blackberry?

L and I go to Kindermusik every Saturday morning. One of the songs is called the little red caboose. Here is Bill's version- little red caboose. We sing it and pull L through the house. She loves it!!!

Well, as you can see from the pictures, I have decided that I can crawl AND pull up on furniture. I stayed at Gram-B's house last night(mom and dad worked on the deck) and showed her that I can pull up too. No one ever thinks I can do stuff like that since I am so little, but here is the evidence to prove it. I am growing so big. I eat big girl food and love to chase the dogs around.

We went to Chuy's and saw a family with a little boy that was 8 months old. He was drinking out of a sippy cup, sitting in a high chair and hanging with his family. My mom felt like a total loser. She hasn't given me a sippy cup...UNTIL NOW! Check out the new pic.

She is amazed with colors and sounds like all 6 months are....BUT are all 6 month old amazed with the Internet like L is? We found her on the Dora site, the baby gap and the daily drool (reading about hounds). We love these pics!

My dad is a hunk

This is a great trend in our house. When my mom first met Bill, she said he was a HUNK. She then proceeded to buy him a hunk rock that sits on his side of the bed. From that point forward it has been our running joke that his nickname is hunk and mine is hotstuff. For example, my ring is engraved with 'hotsutff' and his says 'hunk'. The minute I found out I was preggers, I went to a baby store and found this outfit. It says my dad is a HUNK! Lily is just big enough to wear it!!!
