Redone....a room finds itself redone!

I have been wanted to 'clean up' and make Tyler's room more adult like since he moved out. Bill and I touched up the paint and re-arranged. We also pulled stuff out of the closet and made this perfect room! I love the bedding. We have had it for a while, but when Lily's room became a baby room, we had to put it up!

Adult night out!

Bill and I went to Cedar Street last night with my friend Johnna and her B. We saw Mingo fish trap. (www.mingofishtrap.com)They were awesome!!! Check out their music- blues meets jazz. It was so fun. I am waiting on Johnna to send me the pics.....

Honestly not avoiding....

to blog that is! Have you seen those commercials for Swiffers- when the broom is singing 'Baby come back'? Well, I think my blog is saying the same thing. I have now become addicted to facebook- my friends know what I am doing at all times, a little too much I must add! So, I promise to update this a little more often. Here is what I have so far-

1. Lily is getting so big. I cant believe it. She is totally fun and copies everything we do. When we say UHHH OOOHHHH, she copies us. I love it. I am looking to get her into swim lessons soon. She loves the water.
2. Turbo the Beagle found a new home. I am so grateful- I didnt even cry when I dropped him off. My mom had to go with me, but I didnt cry. He now lives in a house of luxury......doggie door, sun room and 2 other dogs to keep him company. I totally felt good about leaving him there. The family has 3 boys that will keep him moving. I have to say, it has been a good relief for me and the DH. No more worrying about closing doors, etc. The bassets take care of themselves. I think Daisy is happy he is gone!
3. We are heading to Vegas with my BFF and her DH! July timeframe. Waiting on tix to drop a little. Long weekend of course....no kids!
4. We went to our first BBQ cook off with my BIL. He didnt place, but we still had a good time. looking forward to many more.
5. I have been on a work conference bridge for litterly 18 hours. I am tired!

Need my own space!!

Bill and I initially shared a 5 foot dinner table for a shared desk. It was great when Bill didn't work at home all the time and I didn't work here either. It was starting to kill us that we didn't have our own space, so I went to IKEA. I love my new space. I even got a set of drawers! Bill kept the red desk and moved it around. We got rid of 2 other tables and all of the junk! Thanks to my DH for putting all of this together for me. He rules!

My new resolution

As many of you know, when I was pregnant with L I gained 60 lbs!! (Thanks broken ankles).........So, I sold my ellipitcal machine and got a treadmill. Here is L telling daddy what to do and how to do it.....
